SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team fell just one run short Thursday, falling to Salt Lake CC 6-5 to open the Scenic West Athletic Conference series.

With the bases loaded
Tayson Howard hit a two-RBI double and then
Cade Burnham pulled CSI within one run on a three-run home run with one out. That would be it for the comeback as the Golden Eagles flew out twice to end the game.
Howard finished the game 3-for-4 and Burnham was 2-for-4.
Crew Secrist and
Mack Evans were also each 2-for-4 at the plate.
Grayson Riding took the loss, pitching the first six innings, giving up six runs on 11 hits. Cayman Kap pitched the final two innings, giving up no runs on no hits with three strikeouts.
