SALINA, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Rodeo Team is climbing back into the Rocky Mountain Region race, taking second at the Snow College Rodeo Friday and Saturday. The Golden Eagle Women are still in first, finishing eighth at the rodeo.
Chase Andrade and
Trevor Burdick took third and fourth in the Men's All Around in Salina. Andrade was second in Steer Wrestling and fourth in Team Roping with
Cade McMurry as a partner. Burdick took third in Team Roping with
Macey Moore as a partner and seventh in Tie Down Roping.
CSI claimed both scoring spots in Bull Riding.
Mason Reine won the event with
Ashton Zabriskie finishing second.
Dahl Winters took second in Bareback Riding.Â
Scoring for the women was
Celie Davis where she took fifth in Goat Tying. Hailey Jo Gibbs finished sixth in Breakaway Roping.
With the points the men scored, they have moved into third place in the overall standings behind Snow College and Southern Utah. The Women remain in first place ahead of second-place Utah Valley.Â
The next rodeo for CSI will be April 10th and 11th in Ogden, Utah, at the Weber State University Rodeo.
