TWIN FALLS, Idaho - After a dominating performance against North Idaho last week, College of Southern Idaho's Ashley Garner earned NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors.
The post, who is averaging a double-double on the season with 10.3 points and 10.3 rebounds, also had a double-double in the Golden Eagles win over North Idaho Saturday.
The sophomore finished the game with 22 points and 14 rebounds. She was a perfect 14-of-14 from the free-throw line and added two assists and two blocks.
The Golden Eagles will look to clinch the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season championship Thursday when they host USU Eastern.
