TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team took two more wins from Big Bend CC 24-3 and 10-1 Saturday to improve to 12-5 overall.
The Golden Eagles run ruled Big Bend in five innings for game one, pounding out 17 hits.Â
Stockton Fowlks was 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBI.
Ryder Cutlip was 2-for-5 with a double and six RBI and
Tyson Staheli was 2-for-2.
Noah Gatti was 3-for-4 and
Mack Evans was 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBI, while
Cooper Thompson was 3-for-5 with two doubles and four RBI.
Kyson Giles earned the win, going three innings and giving up one earned run on two hits with eight strikeouts.
Kaleb Doty finished the final two innings, giving up one run on two hits with four strikeouts.
CSI run ruled Big Bend again in game two.
Trey Purser was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
Crew Secrist and
Cooper Scott were each 2-for-4 and
Cade Burnham was 1-for-2 with a double.
Braxton Yates got the win, pitching four innings and giving up one earned run on four hits with three strikeouts.
Will Grizzle pitched two innings, giving up no runs on one hit with two strikeouts and
Caden Fenger pitched the final inning, giving up no runs on two hits with two strikeouts.
The win is CSI's 12th straight. The Golden Eagles host Prairie Baseball Academy next week.
