HENDERSON, Nev. - The 25th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat College of Southern Nevada 11-3 and 7-1 Friday in non-conference play.
The Golden Eagles pounded out 27 hits on the day.Â
In game one,
Lily Heitz was 3-for-3 with a home run two RBI to lead the way.
Rilyne Keck and
Kyli Carrell were each 2-for-3 with doubles and one RBI.
Maile Ha'o and
Anslie Yazzie were each 2-for-4 with doubles.
Alyce Archuleta was 1-for-2.
Sophia Bristow earned the win in the circle, going 4.0 innings and giving up two earned runs on five hits with six strikeouts.
Ella Farrell pitched the final inning, giving up no runs on no hits.
Game two was more of the same.
Archuleta was 3-for-3 with a double and
Shyann Banasky was 2-for-2. Carrell had a two-rbi triple. Both
Adi Hansen and
Camryn Guest were 2-for-4. Guest added two stolen bases.
Emerson Fuller got the win, pitching 6.1 innings and giving up one run on six hits with six strikeouts. Farrell pitched to the final two hitters, giving up no hits.
CSI takes on Southern Nevada for one more game Saturday.
