SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - After trailing by five at the half, the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team poured it on in the second half to beat Salt Lake CC 83-61 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Jalen Lyn had a big night for the Golden Eagles, finishing with 26 points, six rebounds and two assists.
Ben Thornbrue added 21 points and four rebounds, while
Nathan Ahner had 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. At the guard position,
Ace Reiser had 11 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Cooper Kesler added 4 points and six rebounds.
CSI shot 42 percent in the first half and then improved to 54 percent in the second half. Salt Lake trended the opposite way, shooting 49 percent in the first half and then just 23 percent in the second.Â
The Golden Eagles travel to North Idaho next Saturday for its final regular season road trip.
