TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team finished up the weekend with two more wins against California Miramar, beating them 12-2 and 12-1 Saturday in non-conference play.
The Golden Eagles took advantage of five walks along with nine hits to run rule California Miramar in game one.
Brayden Petersen finished the game 3-for-3 with two RBI.
Sawyer Slade was 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Trey Purser hit a grand slam to pile on the runs.
Stockton Fowlks finished the game with four walks and three stolen bases.
Kyson Giles earned the win, pitching all five innings and giving up no earned runs on three hits with six strikeouts.
CSI continued the offensive onslaught in game two, finishing with four doubles.
Tayson Howard had three of those, going 3-for-3 at the plate. Scott was 1-for-1 with a double.
Mack Evans was also perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with four RBI.
Braxton Yates earned the win on the mound, pitching the first four innings and giving up no earned runs on one hit with three strikeouts.
Will Grizzle pitched the final inning, giving up no runs on no hits with two strikeouts.
CSI, 9-5 overall, hosts Big Bend next weekend.
