TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team beats California Miramar 6-0 and 10-2 Friday in non-conference action.
Grayson Riding dominated on the mound in the first game, giving up no runs on two hits with six strikeouts.
Both
Sawyer Slade and
Crew Secrist were each 3-for-4 at the plate with a double. Secrist also had three RBI.
Cade Burnham was 2-for-3 with two doubles and
Tayson Howard was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In game two
Kolton Hicks brought the hot bat. The sophomore finished with two home runs and three RBI. Burnham and Howard continued to swing it. Burnham was 2-for-2 and Howard was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.Â
Adding to the offense was
Ryder Cutlip and
Noah Gatti. Cutlip was 2-for-3 and Gatti was 2-for-4 with a double.
Degan Rigby earned the win, pitching six innings and giving up two runs on five hits with eight strikeouts.
Blake Carter pitched the final inning, giving up no runs on one hit with one strikeout.
CSI, 7-5 overall, hosts California Miramar again Saturday for a doubleheader.
