PRICE, Utah - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team escaped with a 78-74 win over USU Eastern Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles led just seven minutes of the game but led when it mattered most - the end.
Ben Thornbrue kept CSI in the game early, finishing with almost all of his 19 points in the first half.
Cooper Kesler came up big all game to lead the Golden Eagles. The redshirt-freshman had 22 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Jalen Lyn and
Ace Reiser each had 10 points and three assists, while Guygustone had a team-high eight rebounds.
CSI, 22-1 overall and 8-0 in conference play, travels to Ephraim, Utah, on Saturday for a big matchup with #2 Snow College.
