EPHRAIM, Utah - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team lost to second-ranked Snow College 83-77 Saturday in an epic battle of two of the best teams in junior college basketball.
The loss evened the score between the two teams and will set up a tiebreaker in head to head Scenic West Athletic Conference action later this season.
The Golden Eagles clung to a one-point halftime lead but Snow pulled ahead in the second half to stay.
Jalen Lyn led CSI with 20 points.
Nathan Ahner added 16 points along with four rebounds and three assists.
Ben Thornbrue finished with a team high six rebounds and also had eight points and four assists.
Ace Reiser had 14 points and five rebounds and
Cooper Kesler added 11 points.
CSI, 22-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play, hosts North Idaho next Saturday.
