Box Score PHOENIX, Ariz. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team captured its first win Tuesday, beating Paradise Valley 7-5 in non-conference play.
The Golden Eagles took advantage of two home runs to score four of their runs.
Both
Trey Purser and
Mack Evans each had home runs.
Tayson Howard was 1-for-2 with two walks, a double, two runs scored and four stolen bases. Ryan Cutlip was finished with 2-for-4 with one RBI.
On the mound
Will Grizzle was dominant, pitching the first three innings for the win and giving up no runs on one hit with five strikeouts.
Grayson Riding pitched a scoreless inning, giving up no hits and striking out the side. All five runs for Paradise Valley were unearned.
The Golden Eagles take on Paradise Valley again Wednesday at 2 p.m.
