SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The 11th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team built a good lead midway through the first half and maintained to beat Salt Lake CC 86-78 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles shot almost 50 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line to secure the win.Â
Jalen Lyn led CSI in scoring with 18 points.
Ace Reiser finished 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds and four assists.
Ben Thornbrue also had 13 points along with five rebounds and two assists.
Cooper Kesler finished with 12 points, five rebounds and two steals, while
Nathan Ahner had 10 points, two assists and two steals.
The big men inside,
Guygustone Kasenga and
Charlie Dimmock, combined for 18 points and nine rebounds.
CSI, 17-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play, host #1 Snow College Thursday and USU Eastern on Saturday.
