Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The 11th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team lost to 10th-ranked Trinity Valley 25-17, 25-21, 25-14 Saturday but bounced back to beat Eastern Wyoming 14-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.
Against Eastern Wyoming, Ava Pond led the attack with 12 kills. Smart added 10. Vivian Goto finished with nine kills and eight digs, while Ashlee Stanger had seven kills and three blocks. 
Anchoring the defense, Hazuna Akishige posted 22 digs and Emerson Heatwole had nine along with four service aces. Dominant all week at the net, Zeynep Balci led the Golden Eagles with five blocks.
The Golden Eagles couldn't put it all together against Trinity Valley but still had some solid numbers. 
Pond had a team-high 10 kills. Benucci had seven and Goto added five. Samara Hopoate finished with 17 assists and Akishige had 10 digs.
CSI, 11-5 overall, is off next week before starting conference play.
