JEROME, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Soccer controlled the ball most of the game but came up 1-0 short in the final score against North Idaho Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles had seven shots to two for the Cardinals in the first half and then out-shot them 9-4 in the second half.
Jael Montalvo had three shots on goal and
Jayva Hicks had four.
North Idaho scored at the 18:25 mark in the first half off a corner kick and that would be the end of all scoring.
CSI, 3-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play, travels to Salt Lake next Thursday and Colorado Northwestern Saturday.
