JEROME, Idaho - Seven different CSI players scored goals in the Golden Eagles soccer 8-0 soccer win over Pacific Northwest Christian Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSI scored six goals in the first half by Presley Houghton (Desirae Bolton assist), Itzel Hernandez (Maya Robinson assist), Jael Montalvo, Araya Wood (Montalvo assist), Kellie Christensen and Aray Wood.
Wood added a goal on an assist from Carina Muegge in the second half and then Iliana Zaldivar (Maggie Anderson assist) scored a goal at the 74:42 mark to secure the mercy rule and end the game.
Golden Eagle goalkeeper Avery Charlesworth secured the win in her 74:42 minutes with the shutout.
CSI, 3-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play, host North Idaho Saturday at 11 a.m.
