SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team rolled to two wins Friday in the SLCC Crystal "Inn"vitational, beating Central Wyoming 25-18, 28-26, 25-17 and Western Wyoming 26-24, 25-17, 25-20.
Against CWC,
Vivian Goto finished with a double-double, posting 11 kills and 11 digs.
Ava Pond led all attackers with 15 kills, while
Isabel Smart added nine kills.
For the defense,
Hazuna Akishige led the way with 17 digs. Both setters were solid all match. Sophia Llinas had 22 assists and seven digs and
Dalayni Brindley had 20 assists and seven digs.Â
In the second match, Pond added eight kills and Smart had seven. On the outside,
Ashlee Stanger finished with eight kills and nine digs. Akishige had a team-high 14 digs.
Emerson Heatwole added nine.Â
Brindley finished with 20 assists and five digs to lead the setters.
The Golden Eagles, now 6-2 overall, host the Starr Corporation Invitational Friday and Saturday.
