SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team lost to 18th-ranked Salt Lake CC 5-1 and 11-0 Saturday to finish up the Scenic West Athletic Conference series.
The Golden Eagles battled with Salt Lake in game one but six defensive errors proved to be the difference.

Game two was exciting to the end.
Down 9-5 in the ninth inning, the Golden Eagles rallied to take the 10-9 lead.
With one out, Evans walked before Morrow doubled. Trey Purser doubled to score Evans and Morrow. After a hit by pitch put Kolton Hicks on base Cole Decastro homered to give CSI the lead.
The Golden Eagles gave up the tying run after an error put the leadoff on to send the game to the 11th.
CSI could not scratch a run across and Salt Lake led off the bottom of the 10th with an error that eventually scored on a single.
Barker, Purser and DeCastro all finished with home runs. Purser was 3-for-6 with four RBI and DeCastro was 2-for-4 with three RBI.
