TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho baseball Team split with USU Eastern Saturday, losing 4-2 before run ruling the Eagles 11-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference action.
Mack Evans was 3-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Both
Cole DeCastro and
Kason O'Neil were each 2-for-3 in game one.
Mason Hartle took the loss, pitching five innings and giving up four earned runs on nine hits with four strikeouts.
Jack Ryan pitched the final two innings, giving up no runs on no hits.
Evans stayed hot in game two. He went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. DeCastro and O'Neil were 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Tayson Howard finished 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Bryce Intagliata got the win, pitching all five innings and giving up one earned run on five hits with two strikeouts.
CSI, 23-22 overall and 8-12, host Salt Lake next weekend on the final conference weekend.
