Golden Eagle Baseball completes the sweep of Clark College

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team finished off the weekend series with a doubleheader sweep of Clark College, beating the Penguins 9-1 and 12-4 Saturday in non-conference play.
The Golden Eagles led just 2-1 going into the bottom of the sixth of game one before they strung together seven runs highlighted by a Jack Barker grand slam.
Kason O'Neil finished the game 2-for-3 with an RBI and Jack Ryan was 1-for-2.
Bryce Intagliata earned the win on the mound, pitching six innings and giving up one earned run on five hits with five strikeouts. Cooper Bartholomew pitched the final inning, giving up no runs on not hits with two strikeouts.
Game two was similar to game one in that CSI led just 6-4 going into the sixth inning. The Golden Eagles scored five in the bottom of the sixth and one in the bottom of the seventh to get the run rule.
Crew Secrist led the offense, going 3-for-4 with a double and five RBI. Kason O'Neil was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Kolton Hicks was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Mason Hartle earned the win, pitching the first five innings, giving up three earned runs on five hits with one strikeout. Degan Rigby and Coleman Bobb each pitched one scoreless inning for the Golden Eagles.
CSI, 18-9 overall, hosts Prairie Baseball Academy Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
