PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat USU Eastern 13-4 and 19-2 Friday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles hit four home runs in the game one win, while the CSI pitching held USUE at bay.
Rilyne Keck was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI,
Anslie Yazzie had a home run with three RBI,
Abbie Banning was 2-for-4 with a home run and Kelsie Jense hit a home run with two RBI.
Alyce Archuleta was 2-for-5 with two RBI.
Eva Stoddard earned the win in the circle, pitching all seven innings and giving up three earned runs with six strikeouts.
In game two the Golden Eagles jumped out to a big lead and rolled.
Archuleta was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI and
Lexi Crowley hit a home run and had five RBI.
Adi Hansen was 3-for-4 with three stolen bases,
Courtney Christiansen was 3-for-3 with two RBI, Keck was 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI and Banning was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI.
Ella Farrell got the complete game win, pitching five innings and giving up one earned run with six hits and four strikeouts.
CSI improves to 19-12 overall and 12-2 in conference play. The Golden Eagles will take on USU Eastern again Saturday.
