TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team scored three in the fifth and two in the sixth to beat Prairie Baseball Academy 5-0 Sunday in the final game of the five-game series.
Jack Barker walked in the fifth and scored on a Kason O'Neil single. Then Mack Evans homered to plate two more runs.
That would be all the CSI pitching staff would need.
Coleman Bobb started the game for the Golden Eagles, pitching two innings and giving up no runs on not hits with three strikeouts. Caden Fenger pitched the final five innings, giving up no runs on three hits with five strikeouts.
Barker finished the game 1-for-2 with a walk and hit by pitch. O'Neil was 2-for-2 and JAck Ryan was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and an RBI.
CSI, 22-10 overall, opens Scenic West Athletic Conference play Friday when it hosts Colorado Northwestern.
