EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team lost to Snow College 5-4 in extra innings before run ruling the Badgers 12-3 in the final game Wednesday of a Scenic West Athletic Conference series.
The Golden Eagles stranded eight runners in the first game and never could get anything going.
Lily Heitz was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and
Rilyne Keck was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.Â
Marissa Mauger pitched the first 5.1 innings, giving up four runs on 10 hits with four strikeouts.
Ella Farrell got the loss, pitching the final 2.1 innings and giving up one run on three hits with four strikeouts.
Game two was all CSI.
The Golden Eagles scored five runs in the first inning and rolled from there.
Adi Hansen was 3-for-4 with a triple, Heitz was 2-for-4 with two RBI,
Courtney Christiansen was 2-for-3, Keck was 3-for-4 with two doubles and
Lexi Crowley was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
Emerson Fuller earned the win, pitching five innings and giving up three runs on six hits with three strikeouts.
CSI improves to 10-2 in conference play.
