EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat Snow College 8-7 in 10 innings before scoring the go-ahead run in the seventh to take game two 4-3 Tuesday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Both teams were knotted in a pitchers duel in game one, tied at three going into the 10th inning when CSI scored five runs on three singles and a double. But the game was far from over as Snow answered with a double and two home runs to pull within one. Enter
Emerson Fuller. The freshman shut the Badgers down with a flyout and two strikeouts to give CSI the win.
Rilyne Keck finished the game 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI,
Anslie Yazzie was 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI,
Abbie Banning was 2-for-5 with a home run and double and
Lexi Crowley was 3-for-5.

Game two started slow and ended much the same as game one.
The Golden Eagles were tied with Snow at 3 apiece going into the seventh inning. CSI was able to scratch a run across when
Kelsie Jensen singled followed by a two-base error that put
Adi Hansen on second and Jensen on third.
Alyce Archuleta then scored Jensen on a sacrifice fly.
Snow led off the bottom half with a double before Fuller again entered the game to shut down the Badgers. She got three straight outs to secure the CSI win.
The Golden Eagles, now 9-1 in conference play, take on Snow against Wednesday for a doubleheader.
