TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team take two from Treasure Valley Saturday, beating the Chukars 5-2 and 14-4.
Jack Barker led the way in game one, going 3-for-3 with a double and a triple.
Kason O'Neil went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and
Trey Purser was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
On the mound,
Bryce Intagliata got the win, pitching 5.2 innings and giving up two earned runs on four hits with eight strikeouts.
Caden Fenger earned the save, throwing the final 1.1 innings and giving up no runs on not hits with three strikeouts.
The Golden Eagles entered the bottom of the sixth tied at four in game two, but a 10-inning bottom half gave CSI the run rule win.
Jack Ryan finished the game 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI and
Brayden Petersen was 3-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Both
Trey Purser and
Jack Barker drew three walks.
Mason Hartle pitched the first five innings, giving up two earned runs on four hits with four strikeouts.
Degan Rigby earned the win, pitching the final one innings, giving up one earned run with two hits and two strikeouts.
CSI, 15-8 overall, is home again next weekend for a non-conference series.
