COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - The 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team trailed North Idaho most of the game, falling 66-61 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CSI tied the game late but the Cardinals answered with a 3-pointer and held off the Golden Eagles the rest of the way.
Kennedy Gillette led CSI with 16 points and nine rebounds.
Ashley Garner added nine points and eight rebounds. Guard
Samara Morrow finished with eight points, three assists and two steals , while
Savannah Stoker had nine points and five rebounds.
Sparking the Golden Eagles off the bench,
Kayla Porray had eight points and seven rebounds and
Kayla Kasubuchi had seven points and three assists.
CSI, 18-7 overall and 6-4 in conference play, hosts Salt Lake CC Wednesday and Colorado Northwestern Saturday.
