TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team used a strong second half to run past Salt Lake CC 67-58 Wednesday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles scored just 22 points in the first half but poured in 45 in the second half to pull away.
Mariah Mons led CSI with 14 pts.
Savannah Stoker added 13 with three rebounds and three steals.
Samara Morrow scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three assists.
Both
Alina Sapilak and
Falon Bedke were solid on the boards, helping the Golden Eagles to a 40-31 rebounding advantage. Sapilak finished with six rebounds and seven points and Bedke had seven rebounds and four points.Â
CSI, 19-7 overall, hosts Colorado Northwestern Saturday.
