TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team improved to 8-7 Thursday with a 6-2 win over Treasure Valley CC.
The Golden Eagles took the lead in the fourth inning when Canon Secrist hit his second home run of the week.
Jack Barker was 2-for-4 with a double and
Kason O'Neil was 1-for-3 with a double to account for CSI's hits.
On the mound,
Shay Benson earned the win, going six innings and giving up just two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts.
Mason Hartle got the save, pitching the final three innings and giving up no runs on no hits with two strikeouts.
CSI will take on Treasure Valley Friday at noon and USU Eastern at 5 p.m. Treasure Valley and USUE will play at 2:30 p.m.
