TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team claimed two run rule wins Tuesday, beating Utah State Club 11-1 and 16-8 in non-conference action.
CSI pitchers
Braxton Yates,
Logan Mabey and Noah Miller combined for just one earned run on three hits with eight strikeouts in the first game. Yates earned the win.
At the plate,
Kason O'Neil was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI to lead CSI. Brexton Starley was 3-for-4 with two doubles and
Crew Secrist was 2-for-3 with one RBI.
The Golden Eagles had another home run in game two, this time by Secrist. He finished the game 2-for-5 with six RBI.
Cole DeCastro was 3-for-4 with a double and
Jack Barker was 2-for-3 with a double.
Calvin Morrow was 2-for-5 with three RBI.
On the mound,
Hayden Hudman got the win, going 2.0 innings and giving up no earned runs on three hits with two strikeouts.
Jack Ryan pitched the final two innings, giving up no runs on one hit with four strikeouts.
CSI, 7-7 overall, hosts Treasure Valley on Thursday.
