TWIN FALLS, Idaho - It was raining outside the gym on Saturday and inside it was raining 3-pointers as the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team was 18-for-36 to beat USU Eastern 94-61 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Khayri Dunn scored 23 points to lead the Golden Eagles, knocking down seven 3-pointers. Both
Dale Griffin and
Gerry Guerrero hit three. Griffin finished with 17 points and Guerrero had 11.
Walker Timme scored his 13 points in the paint and added six rebounds.
Amarco Doyle had a team-high seven rebounds along with nine points and
Nathan Ahner had a team-high eight assists. Crowd favorite
Samuel Lupumba came off the bench to score six points along with four rebounds and two steals.
CSI, 19-5 overall and 7-2 in conference play, travels to North Idaho next weekend.
