TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The eighth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team battled with a tough Eastern Arizona team, gradually pulling away late to win 74-64 Friday in the Wright PT Shootout.
The Golden Eagles largest lead was 11 points with four minutes to play but the teams exchanged leads nine times and were tied eight times throughout the game.
CSI won the battle of the boards behind the rebounding of Ben Thornbrue. The sophomore pulled down 15 rebounds and finished with a double-double adding 10 points. Post charlie Dimmock also was solid on the glass, posting 12 points and seven rebounds. 
Jalen Lyn led all scorers with 22 points and had four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Cooper Kesler scored 16 points, hitting four 3-pointers. Ace Resier finished with nine points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Off the bench Emil Hirvonen had his best game so far with four points, four rebounds and two steals.
CSI, 10-0, takes on 16th-ranked Odessa College Saturday at 7 p.m. to close out the tournament. Odessa beat Colorado Northwesten earlier Friday 101-80.
