TWIN FALLS, Idaho - In the battle of the tournament undefeated teams, the Golden Eagle Men's Basketball team came out on top, beating College of Southern Nevada 103-73 Saturday.
In just his second game at CSI,
Ace Reiser came within two assists of a triple double, leading the Golden Eagles all night.
The freshman had 13 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists and three steals. Four other Golden Eagles posted double-figure scoring as well.
Jalen Lyn and
Cooper Kesler each had 20 points and
Gerry Guerrero and
Guygustone Kasenga each had 10 points. Lyn and Kesler also combined for 11 rebounds and six assists.
CSI out-rebounded the Coyotes 55-36 and finished with 25 assists to CSN's seven.
The Golden Eagles, now 2-0, host the Battle for the Boot next week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
