Golden Eagle Men's Basketball gets opening night win

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 17th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team cruised in the second half to beat Yavapai 66-48 Friday in the Physicians Immediate Care Tournament.
The Golden Eagles led by as much as 22 in the second half with less than two minutes to play.
Cooper Kesler led the Golden Eagles with 16 points. he added six rebounds and three assists. Nathan Ahner also scored in double figures with 11 points along with six rebounds, two assists and three blocked shots.
Running the offense for CSI all night was Ace Reiser. The freshman posted four points, five rebounds, seven assists, three steals and two blocks.
Gerry Guerrero was a spark off the bench, scoring nine points and pulling down eight rebounds. Bit men Guygustone Kasenga and Charlie Dimmock combined for 11 points and 16 rebounds.
CSI takes on Southern Nevada Saturday in the late game. The Coyotes beat Colorado Northwestern Friday in the early game.
