EPHRAIM, Utah - Not only did the College of Southern Idaho Men's Cross Country Team win a team title Saturday in the Region 18 Championship Meet but also came away with the top individual champion.
Raivio Manzer won the individual title on the 8k course in 27:02.69.
Jack Davidson took fifth (27:58.83) and
Parker Goggins was eighth (28:21.73). Rounding out the golden Eagles top five were
Ben Jensen (10th in 28:32.43) and
Kaleb Burnett (11th in 28:32.95).
CSI tied Snow College with 35 points but claimed the title by virtue of the Golden Eagles sixth runner beating the Badgers sixth runner. Salt lake CC was third with 59 points and Colorado Northwestern took fourth with 110 points.
The Golden Eagles travel to Fort Dodge, Iowa, Nov. 8th for the NJCAA Division I National Championship Meet.Â
