SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The 17th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team battled to the end, ultimately falling to fifth-ranked Salt Lake CC 25-20, 25-21, 25-22.
The big difference came at the net where Salt Lake posted 11 blocks to five for CSI and hit .213 compared to .191 for the Golden Eagles.
Vivian Goto led the way for CSI, finishing with 11 kills and 14 digs.
Isabel Smart and
Ava Pond added eight kills apiece.
Zeynep Balci had a team high 3 blocks along with five kills.Â
Dalayni Brindley finished with 23 assists and six digs and
Hazuna Akishige had 14 digs.
CSI, 15-8 overall and 4-3 in conference play, hosts USU Eastern and Snow College next week.
