RANGELY, Colo. - The 17th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team cruised to the quick 25-7, 25-16, 25-9 win over Scenic West Athletic Conference opponent Colorado Northwestern Friday.
The Golden Eagles hit .407, finishing the match with just eight hitting errors.
Leading the way was
Isabel Smart, finishing with 15 kills and eight digs.
Mina Benucci added seven and
Ava Pond,
Vivian Goto and
Zeynep Balci each had five kills. Balci also had three blocks.
Hazuna Akishige finished with a double-double, posting 10 assists and 11 digs.
Dalayni Brindley had a team-high 20 assists along with eight digs.
CSI, 15-7 overall and 4-2 in conference play, takes on 5th-ranked Salt Lake CC Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mountain Ridge High School. The Bruins gym suffered a waterline break so the game was moved to a local high school.
