EPHRAIM, Utah - The 14th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team toppled Snow College 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-14 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles bounced back from a conference loss Friday to put up some big numbers.
Isabel Smart led the offense with 13 kills. She added five digs and four blocks.
Mina Benucci also finished with double-figure kills, posting 10 along with four blocks.
In the middle
Zeynep Balci had a steady five kills, five digs and five blocks for the Golden Eagles.
Dalayni Brindley finished the match with a double-double - 27 assists and 10 digs. Defensively,
Hazuna Akishige led the way with 21 digs.
Vivian Goto added 16 and
Emerson Heatwole finished with seven. Heatwole also had a team-high four service aces.
CSI, 14-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play, is tied with USU Eastern in second place just behind league-leading Salt Lake CC. The Golden Eagles travel to Colorado Northwestern and Salt Lake CC next week.
