PRICE, Utah - The 14th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team lost to 10th-ranked USU Eastern 25-22, 25-13, 25-22 Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles battled point for point with USUE in set one just coming up short and then never found their rhythm the rest of the way.
Ava Pond led CSI with six kills.
Vivian Goto added five. Both
Mina Benucci and
Zeynep Balci each had three kills and two blocks in the middle.
Dalayni Brindley finished with a team-high 16 assists along with seven digs and
Hazuna Akishige posted 12 digs.
CSI, 13-7 overall and 2-2 in conference play, takes on Snow College Saturday in Ephraim.
