TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team handed Northwest College its first loss of the year, beating the Trappers 25-7, 15-25, 26-24, 23-25, 15-13 before falling to second-ranked Miami Dade 25-11, 25-10, 25-19.
Against Northwest,
Dorina Bogar led the offense with 14 kills and added 14 digs.
Jada Thomas-Swinson had 10 kills and seven blocks, while
Mina Benucci had nine kills and four blocks.Â
Kelsy Stanger also finished in double-figure kills with 10 and had six blocks.Â
Addison Hoover posted 14 digs and five service aces, while
Kirsten Mullins had 42 assists and nine digs.
In the Miami Dade match,
Tavie Rogers came off the bench to hit .500 with five kills for the Golden Eagles. Benucci led CSI with six kills and three blocks.
Jenna Riley had a team high 11 assists along with two service aces.
CSI, 4-8 overall, travels to Salt Lake next week for the UFirst Intermountain Invite.
