TWIN FALLS, Idaho - It has been a long two weeks for the CSI Women's soccer team as they have waited patiently to get back on the pitch and start conference play.
Today they got off to the start they were looking for as they shutout Truckee Meadows en route to a 2-0 victory. The Golden Eagles were able to find the back of the net in each half as
Kenna Fransen scored the opening goal in the first half, followed by an
Illiana Zaldivar goal from
Macy Johnson in the second half.
Kirstine Kent was in goal for the Golden Eagles clean sheet. CSI is back in action next week as they travel to Coeur d' Alene to take on North Idaho.
