TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The CSI Women's soccer club continued their conference opening road trip with their second straight victory as they knocked off North Idaho College 3-1 on Thursday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles got the scoring started early when
Kenna Fransen scored an unassisted goal in just the fourth minute. North Idaho was able to equalize in the 21st minute, but the Golden Eagles wasted no time regaining the lead as
Itzel Hernandez scored from
Jenimar Briceno in the 22nd minute. Southern Idaho was able to hold strong in the second half while adding to their lead on
Kenna Fransen's second goal in the 56th minute from
Jessika Lassen.
Kirstine Kent got the win in goal and registered five saves on the afternoon. CSI continues their road trip on Saturday as they will take on Pacific Northwest Christian.
