TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The CSI Women's soccer club dropped their second consecutive conference match as they lost 5-0 to USU-Eastern, Thursday afternoon.
Southern Idaho struggled for much of the match to get any offense going, as they were only able to muster one shot on goal from
Kenna Fransen. The match was scoreless for the greater part of the first half before USU-E found the back of the net twice in the final three minutes to take a 2-0 lead into the break. USU-E kept the offensive pressure on in the second half with three more goals in the 74th, 78th, and 89th minutes.
Shelby Bingham registered seven saves for the Golden Eagles.
Southern Idaho, now 3-2-1 in conference play, gear up to take on #13 Snow College on Saturday.
