TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 13th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team won game one 11-2 with offense and took game two 3-1 with defense Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles hit five home runs in the first game. Both
Tessa Hokanson and
Abbie Banning each hit two and
Courtney Christiansen had the third one. Christiansen also had four RBI and Hokanson and Banning each had three.
Reagan Rex was 2-for-2 and
Brylee Bigelow was 1-for-2.
Abby Hayes got her 14th win of the season going five innings and giving up two runs on five hits with three strikeouts.
In game two,
Eva Stoddard gave up just one run on five hits with six strikeouts in the circle.
Hokanson and
Kenzee Hale each had a double and
Taya Manzanares was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
CSI will play Southern Nevada again for a doubleheader Friday at 11 a.m.
