SPANISH FORK, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Rodeo Team finished up its regular season Friday and Saturday at the Utah Valley University Rodeo, taking second. The Golden Eagle Women placed seventh.
The CSI Men's Team won the Rocky Mountain Region Title and will have eight men representing the Golden Eagles at the College National Finals Rodeo June 9th-15th in Casper, Wyo.
The Golden Eagles also had several individual event title winners.
Sage Allen won Bareback Riding with
Darien Johnson taking the reserve champion spot and
Darien Johnson, placing third for the season.
Tyson Hirschi won the Bull Riding Title,
Jaspur Brower was the reserve champion and
Carson Simper was third.
Dane Haas finished the season in Steer Wrestling as the reserve champion and
Hank Whitaker took reserve champion in Saddle Bronc Riding.
On Friday and Saturday, The Golden Eagles also had a couple event winners. Allen won Bareback Riding and Hirschi won Bull Riding. Whitaker took second in Saddle Bronc and
Brock Briggs placed third. In Bareback Riding, Johnson was second and
Coy Montgomery took third.Â
Chase Andrade took second in Steer Wrestling, Haas took fifth and
Landen Roggenkamp was sixth.Â
Andrade and
Kayden Skinner combined for fifth in Team Roping.
On the women's side, the Golden Eagles ended the season seventh in the Rocky Mountain Region. At UVU,
Fallon Jones took eighth in Breakaway Roping and
Dakota Brower placed eighth in Goat Tying.
