RANGELY, Colo. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team won its fourth straight game with 10-3 and 11-1 wins over Colorado Northwestern Thursday.
The Golden Eagles are playing the series one day early to try and get ahead of a weather system coming into Colorado.
In game one,
Brody Duvall set the tone from the leadoff spot, going 4-for-4 with a double.
Jack Ryan was 3-for-4 with a double and three stolen bases and
Colby Carter was 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI.
Tyler Vance was 2-for-4 with an RBI and
Cooper Sloan was 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Shay Benson went the distance, pitching seven innings and giving up three earned runs on six hits with two strikeouts.
Game two was all CSI. Duvall stayed hot, going 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Carter added a home run and three RBI and
Kaden Schuck was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI.
Brock Snow earned the win, pitching seven innings and giving up just one earned run on three hits with 11 strikeouts.
CSI, now 26-21 overall and 9-14 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, take on CNCC again Friday for a doubleheader at 11 a.m.
