Box Score 2 ONTARIO, Ore. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team came out cold Wednesday, falling to Treasure Valley 7-1 in the opening game of the doubleheader but came back with a vengeance, taking game two 16-2.
The Golden Eagles managed just one hit in game one on a double by
Jack Barker, while giving up six in the loss.
Game two was all CSI.
Eliot Jones was 4-for-5 with two home runs and seven RBI.
Cooper Sloan and
Jantzen Anderson also had home runs. Anderson finished the game 2-for-3.
Jack Ryan was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
The Golden Eagle pitched by committee, giving up only one earned run from all eight pitchers that threw.
Garrett Miller started the game, going two innings and giving up no runs on two hits with two strikeouts.
Brock Snow pitched a scoreless inning with three strikeouts and
Shay Benson pitched a scoreless inning with two strikeouts.
CSI, 16-11 overall, doesn't play again until March 22 and 23 when the Golden Eagles host Colorado Northwestern.
