TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Rodeo Team continued its dominance with a win in the CSI Intercollegiate Rodeo Friday and Saturday to stay in first place in the Rocky Mountain Region Standings.
The rodeo marked the opening weekend for the spring season.
The Golden Eagles had event winners in a Saddle Bronc and Bareback Riding.
Hank Whitaker took first in Saddle Bronc and
Sage Allen won Bareback.
Darien Johnson took second and
Tyson Hirschi placed third to make it a sweep.
In Steer Wrestling,
Dane Haas placed fourth and CSI had two score in Team Roping.
Cade McMurry and
Cody Rowley took fourth and
Chase Andrade and
Kayden Skinner were fifth.
The CSI Women's Team did not have anyone score.
For the year, the CSI Men have 3,685 points. UVU is in second with 2,395 and Weber State and Idaho State are tied for third with 2,225 points.
