Box Score COOLIDGE, Ariz. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball team battled into the eighth trailing 1-0 but Central Arizona tacked on three more runs in the bottom of the eighth to take the 4-0 win Friday in non-conference play.
Ashton Johnson had a great outing on the mound in the loss, going 6.2 innings and giving up just one run on two hits with two strikeouts.
At the plate, the Golden Eagles had three hits. Broday Duvall and Logan West each had a single and Jack Barker finished with a double.
The Golden Eagles take on the Vacqueros again Saturday in a doubleheader, starting at 11 a.m.
