TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team took two more games Saturday from Treasure Valley, beating the Chukars 12-2 and 3-2.
The Golden Eagles took advantage of 10 hits and eight walks to run rule TVCC in six innings in game one.
Logan West was 3-for-3 with a triple and four RBI.
Dax Newman was 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI. Both
Jack Ryan and
Tyler Vance were 1-for-1.
Shay Benson started the game, going three innings and giving up two runs on one hit with three strikeouts.
Malcolm Bartholomew,
Andrew White and
Mark Henderson each pitched an inning, giving up no runs and one total hit with two strikeouts apiece.
Game two was about the pitching performance of
Brock Snow. He earned the win, going six innings and giving up no runs, no hits with 14 strikeouts.
At the plate,
Eliot Jones hit a two-RBI home run and
Jack Barker was 2-for-3 with a double.
CSI, 10-6 overall, next hosts Yakima Valley Friday and Saturday.
