PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team lost to fifth-ranked USU Eastern 25-6, 25-14, 22-25, 25-14 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Eagles of Price used a tough service game to force CSI into 11 reception errors and out-blocked CSI 15-5.
The Golden Eagles were led by
Mina Benucci's eight kills and four blocks and
Kelsy Stanger's eight kills.
Ashlee Stanger had five.
Defensively,
Hazuna Akishige had a team high 18 digs. She added three assists and one service ace.
Kirsten Mullins led the Golden Eagles with 16 assists.
CSI, 8-16 overall and 3-6 in conference play, finished up the regular season at home Thursday against North Idaho. The sophomore class will be honored right before the match.
