TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team defeated North Idaho College 25-23, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19 Thursday to break a tie with the Cardinal for the fourth spot in the upcoming Region 18 Tournament.
And the Golden Eagles did it on sophomore night.
Mina Benucci led CSI with 20 kills with just one error. She also had a team high six blocks. Finishing with a double-double was
Dorina Bogar. The sophomore posted 10 kills, 15 digs and two service aces. In the middle,
Tavie Rogers was solid with eight kills and only one error along with three blocks.
Kirsten Mullins led the Golden Eagles with 29 assists.
Jenna Riley added 18 and also had seven digs.
CSI, 9-16 overall and 4-6 in conference play, will take on the top seed in the Region 18 Tournament next Wednesday.
